SBTJM-A High-range Water Reducing Admixture is a powder of beta-sulphonate formaldehyde condensate. The Na2SO4 content is within 18-20% and almost no chloride exists. It has the properties of non-air-entraining, high-range water reducing and early-strength improving. It is in particular suitable to produce concrete with the requirement of high water reduction, high-early strength. SBTJM-A is formulated to comply with the following specification for concrete admixture: ASTMC494, Type F; BS EN 934-2/3.2.2, 3.2.7.

Features and Benefits:
1. High water reduction: Tested according to ASTMC494, the water reduction is around 16% at the addition rate of 0.5% by the total weight of cementitious materials.
2. Superplasticizing: The addition of SBTJM ? -A effectively improves the fluidity of the concrete and reduces the bleeding and segregation tendency of concrete. Therefore it improves the workability of the concrete and makes the concrete easy for pumping and compacting.
3. High strength: At the addition rate of 0.5%, it can improve the compressive strength of concrete at the ages of 3D, 7d and 28d by 65%~75%, 45%~55%, 25%~35% respectively. Especially, the early compressive strength at age of 1d can be enhanced by 170%.
4. Little change of set time: It has little influence on the initial and final setting time of the concrete. The set-time difference between concrete with SBTJM ? -A and control concrete is normally within one hour.
5. Wide range of application temperature: The suitable ambient temperature for application ranges from -5?C to 45?C.
6. Excellent durability: The addition of SBTJM ? -A can effectively improve the pore structure of the concrete and increase the durability such as impermeability, carbonation resistance and frost resistance.
7. Convenience for use: It can be added directly into concrete or dissolved beforehand into liquid state. It matches the requirements of different application conditions or mixer types.
8. Compatibility: SBTJM ? -A is compatible with different type of cement and other admixtures, such as air-entraining agent, retarder.

Usage:
1. Addition rate: The normal range of SBTJM ? -A addition rate is 0.4~0.6% by weight of cementitious materials and can be increased to 0.8% for early-strength concrete.
2. Mixing: SBTJM ? -A should be mixed previously with cementitious materials. Do not add it directly into wet aggregate. It can be dissolved into water solution before used as liquid admixture and should be added to concrete mix water before.
